Everyone has jewellery that they received as a gift or bought for themselves, but wish it was something different. At Jewellers Mark, we pride ourselves in giving older, unwanted, or inherited jewellery a new lease on life and enhancing the sentiment of the jewellery. Our master jeweller can transform something that’s been sitting at the bottom of your draw into something that can be worn and treasured. We utilise existing gemstones and metals, and can add additional pieces as required to complete your design into a bespoke, handmade piece that will be something you can wear for years to come, while still honouring the original piece and its sentimental value.

How it works
Jewellery Evaluation
Get in touch and let us know about your (their) jewellery, style, and what you have in mind. We guide you through remodelling your piece, and provide practical advice on what is and isn’t possible and give you an idea of timescales. You may want to drop in for a cup of tea and to show us your jewellery. It’s all very relaxed.
Design Discussion
To commission us, there is a retainer of 300$ (forming part of the overall project costs). Commissions usually begin a finalised brief and then us presenting design concepts and explaining adjustments based on your brief, to ensure you are happy with the remodelling direction and designs. We love face to face, but in these times also use video as well as Pinterest and other tools to nail down preferences.
Project Commences
Once you are happy with the concepts, for simple projects we get cracking, and for more complex we will start model making to produce the piece. We might use CAD and hand carving depending on the piece of jewellery. We ask for 50% of the project cost to be paid at this point.
Jewellery is made
When we have final sign-off from you, your old piece is carefully dismantled, and incorporated into your new piece of jewellery. Our goldsmith’s understand the cutting edge as well as the traditional skills, ensuring every result is a piece of jewellery you are going to want to wear, a lot. Every detail has been taken care of.
